May meet at Mugg and Bean

The meet for May was at Mugg and Bean in Broadacres - one of my favourite places to go.

It was small meet with Jeanette, Nash, Tanya, Liane, Kelly and Milly all making an appearance. The table appeared to have been booked perfectly (thanks Colleen) and it looks like loads of fun was had by all!

Sharons Babyshower

We held a surprise baby shower for Sharon yesterday and it was such a cool afternoon! It was at Barbaras house and she did the decor and it looked AMAZING!! And she made the most divine chocolate cake that had the words FAMILY on made of chocolate!






It was a small intimate shower with me, Madi, Ansie, Schae, Daisy and Barb all putting in an appearance!!

Sharon really did seem to enjoy her stash and we had a great time chatting and catching up!

Tanyas Farewell

Saturdays meet was a sad one - it was a farewell! Tanya and her little family are leaving SA to go to New Zealand!

Tanya joined BN while she was pregnant so have seen Isabella grow from the beginning - so it is very sad for us all!

It seemed the gods were crying too - and it rained ALL afternoon - it just got harder and harder. That didnt stop some of the kids venturing outside though!

There was a great turnout with Colleen, Tanya x THREE, Barbara, Ansie, Schae, Maretha, Dom, Sue, Jeanette, Raven, Prava, Verity, TashK (who is fast becoming a regular), Nash and Annalize plus obviously all the kiddies and babies. I am not sure Alfresco will be the same.

I have collected all the pics and am just going to share some of them as there were lots!!! Thanks Jeanette and Jay for the pics!

Spur does it again

I dont think we have had a meet at Spur that hasnt been nice!!!

This months meet was at the Spur in Kempton - I think its called the Chatooga Spur! There was a pretty good turnout - ulot of the regulars, including me, were either dealing with the after effects of a 30th or away so that left loads of new moms!!

Mel, Colleen, Maretha, Nicola, Tashk, Liane, Gwynn, Buhle and Karina were all there with there littlies!!

According to the moms who went it was definately the nicest play area with loads of childminders!!

Sandras Visit

Sandra and her family have been holidaying in South Africa! There last stop was Gauteng - so we had a meet for them at Mikes Kitchen in Beyers Naude today!

It was LOVELY!!!

The venue is stunning with very friendly, very efficient service! The food was very nice too - not that reasonable tho. There were a few shocked faces at the R22 for a glass of wine. The kiddies area outside was lovely but it was the inside computer games and wall climbing that kept the boys busy inside. As most venues these days it had those aweful money eating machines that I could blow up and feel no guilt!!

There was a pretty good turn out from Nash, Tanya (Saige in tow),Dom, Marlise, Schae, Ursula, Nicci, Tash (Drew in tow), Julia and of course Sandra and family! It was lovely meeting them and Gemma is simple GORGEOUS!!!!

It was a really great afternoon with a really great bunch of ladies.
